The popularity of acupuncture is growing, and as an established Edinburgh Acupuncturist, in a thriving practice, I am experienced in treating a wide variety of conditions. Although I am more well known for my work in helping women with fertility issues and supporting couples going through IVF, I run a general practice. On this site you will find some details of a few of the conditions that I have successfully helped people with, but the subject of acupuncture is so all-encompassing that it is impossible to write about everything here. About Me

I am from a Chinese background and have been brought up with the principles of Chinese Medicine. Having always been interested in science, I decided to do my 1st degree in ‘Chemistry with Industrial Experience’ at The University of Edinburgh in 1996. Throughout my studies, I was always drawn back to the Chinese way of looking at illness but I was still fascinated by the correlations and similarities between how we view disease in the West and in the East.

In 2000, I ventured on a course in Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York. This 4 year degree course further fuelled my passion for Chinese Medicine and I successfully built up busy acupuncture practices in Morpeth, South Shields and in Edinburgh.

However, Edinburgh really feels like home for me and I have now decided to focus all my energies into my practise here, so that I can deliver the best service possible to my Edinburgh patients. The success of this choice is evident from the responses that I have had from many of my clients. I try to make my treatments as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Patients have reported that they feel comfortable with me and I very much like to make the sessions a 2-way process where the practitioner and patient are working together to achieve a successful outcome. I currently live in Edinburgh with my husband, Andrew and sons Lewis and Max.
