ClosedI hope that you will find it a useful resource for questions regarding acupuncture. On this site, there is information on what acupuncture can treat, as well as some links to other sites that I have found interesting. If there are any questions that you are not able to find the answers to, then feel free to drop me an email and I’ll try to get back to you within a few days.
I am located in the beautiful city of Edinburgh in its largest complimentary health clinic, Mulberry House, which provides a wide range of alternative therapies and classes. It’s been described as an “oasis in the city” for it is a beautiful building set in the bustling West End which is an appealing location for it’s convenience.
I am experienced in successfully treating a variety of conditions ranging from pain to eczema. You may be interested in reading examples of experiences from some of my patients- please see my testimonials.
There are many well qualified acupuncturists working in Edinburgh and you may be finding it difficult to choose the right practitioner for you. In my practise, you will find a friendly and professional service. Each treatment is specifically tailored to that individual rather than the formulaic approach adopted by other acupuncturists.
The sessions last 45 minutes and this will include time for a thorough consultation, needle insertion and relaxation. Unlike some other therapists, I am happy to either stay in the room or leave you in peace while the needles are in place- this will be left entirely to you.
In my care, my patients feel safe, relaxed and respected. Included in the sessions will be nutritional advice from a Chinese energetic perspective and lifestyle advice (types of appropriate exercise, relaxation etc).
I will give you an honest and realistic idea of what I can deliver and if I feel the treatment is not working for you, then we can discuss your options which may involve referring you to a colleague. Like my patients, I am also keen to see results!
I come from a Chinese background where my parents decided to move to Scotland from Hong Kong to raise a family. Therefore, having grown up with Traditional Chinese Medicine, I have a deep Chinese insight into it’s roots and I am experienced in applying this ancient technique to treating modern day conditions.
